Known for discipline, precision, and execution, he made a defining breakthrough in 2016 alongside industry leader Cynthia B. Metzger. A proven entrepreneur, Giovanni previously built and scaled a successful tennis academy and later expanded into real estate investment with Rau Development. His leadership is driven by the competitive mindset of an elite athlete relentless, results-focused, and uncompromising in performance.

Jacob Verghese

Managing Director

Energy Trading

With over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, he brings a comprehensive background spanning drilling operations, global energy trade desks, and strategic advisory services to established petroleum companies.

Beginning in the drilling industry, he developed deep operational insight into upstream production and field economics before transitioning into international energy trading, where he executed and structured physical petroleum transactions across global markets. His experience includes crude oil, refined products, term contracts, and spot transactions, supported by disciplined risk management and strong industry relationships.

He has also served as a strategic consultant to recognized oil and gas firms, advising on trading operations, procurement strategy, and supply chain optimization.

He currently serves as Managing Director of Visionshark Consulting LLC and US Global Fuel Supply Co LLC, where he leads international energy trading strategy, structured petroleum transactions, and advisory engagements across global markets.

Jijo Rajan serves as an Executive of the Trade Desk Division for US Global Fuel Supply Co LLC and Visionshark Consulting LLC. In addition to his leadership role within the organization, Dr. Rajan holds an impressive M.D. degree and brings a unique level of analytical discipline and strategic thinking to the company’s global trading operations.

Working closely alongside CEO Giovanni Halman and Vice President Cynthia Metzger, Jijo has played a critical role in the company’s growth and strategic development. One of his most significant contributions has been helping to bring Managing Director of Energy Trading Jacob Verghese into the organization.

Together, Jijo Rajan and Jacob Verghese have been instrumental in establishing a powerful partnership between US Global Fuel Supply and Visionshark Consulting and their established Trade Desk operations, which have been successfully active in the global energy market for over a decade. Their combined expertise and industry relationships have strengthened the company’s trading capabilities and expanded its reach within international fuel markets.
